From 1st of October it will become illegal for Players under the age of 18 to purchase Rif's, so where as they can become a member of an Airsoft Site, they cannot become a member of the UKARA Skirmishers Scheme.
Would all UKARA Scheme Game Sites please make sure that a date of birth is added to any forms they verify and that none of the Player forms that are verified are for players under the age of 18.
The Player application form has been modified to allow this information to be entered. We apologise for this originally being missing.
Please make sure you include a copy of your game site insurance with your game site application form.
This has to state clearly that Airsoft is covered, and have a start and expiry date. A cover note is often not a lot of good asthey tend to expire after 30 days.
In these days of computers and word processors, hand writing has become a bit of a lost art.
Please Print where you can, and print clearly, there is no point in printing if the letters are not clear. You may be in a hurry but if you have to do it all again, is going to waste more time for all.
For UKARA scheme Skirmisher registration numbers, please use membership numbers which are in the format XXX12345 - three alpha characters followed by five numeric characters.
The exact site-specific format should be agreed at time of registration. e.g. first member registered from Free Firezone FFZ00001
Would game site operators please check that if they were originally a Paint Ball site but have now expanded into Airsoft Skirmishing, that their insurance also covers this additional, or change of use.
These are now available to down load, please read any accompanying notes carefully.
Where possible print clearly, forms containing ineligible information will be binned.
Player "Skirmish" forms will be checked for correct verification mark and signature. We will make random check to prove authenticity.
Please do not send the player forms into a retailer until you are making an order, it is not necessary, and will just slow down registration by clogging up the system.
New UKARA registered game sites will be listed as soon as possible.

So far the UKARA Scheme is progressing on target to beat the 1st October deadline.
New Documents relating to the VCR Act should be available from this site at 5pm 24th August 2007 this evening.

UKARA is now working on the final drafts of the paperwork required for the UKARA scheme, and it will be publish as soon as it has been finalized with the Professional Independent Data firm. Once this has been done the forms will be available as a down load from this site.
